Starting my second year here at UC Blue Ash I got the opportunity to attend a great event  before the school year started. At the Latinx Welcome Cookout, I got to meet some great new students and eat some delicious food. Attending this event showed me how such a small gesture can bring a whole group of people together. This first event was one of the most funnest events i've attended at school. Having the opportunity to meet other hispanic students showed me how they all felt welcomed and excited for the school year to start. Having the opportunity this summer to become a Student Orientation Leader helped me do what I love to most, always making a difference in someone's life even if it's something small. As well becoming an Ambassador this school year gives me the privilege to meet new people, interact with students and just having the opportunity to get involved on campus. I can't wait to see what this school year is going to be like!
