My name is Valerie Soto, I am 19 years old and I was born in Arkansas. I got raised in Mexico for the first 6 years of my life, then my parents decided to move back to the United States and move to Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm the oldest of two younger sisters named Ashley and Nicole. My family and I don't own any pets yet, but my boyfriend and I plan to get a puppy soon. I love to spend time with my family, my parents are the most important thing in my life. The support I get from my family is something I'm so grateful for, I always thrive to be a good role model and set a good example for my two younger sisters.

I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College majoring in Medical Assisting. I plan to get my Associates in Medical Assisting and a minor in Spanish, later I plan to get a degree in Human Resources or Hospital Administration. I'm currently a state tested nursing assistant outside of school. Summer 2018 was a busy one but having the opportunity to become a Student Orientation Leader gave me the chance to make some of my closest friends and be involved on campus. During school I also work as a Student Assistant at the library, I have always enjoyed being involved in school and making a difference in someone's life. As a Student Ambassador this school year I know I'm going to have great opportunities and I can't wait to see what this school year is going to be like.
